Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, protect, and share your information — and the privacy rights you have. Effective July 28, 2026.

1. Who we are

Unbeatable is operated by Unbeatable Group LLC (“Unbeatable,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), based at 2211 Michelson Dr, Irvine, CA 92612, United States. We publish honest, verified information about senior care communities — inspection data, ownership history, and reviews from verified families, staff, and professionals — with no placement commissions. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through unbeatable.com (the “Service”), how we use and protect it, and the choices and rights you have.

2. Information you provide to us

We collect the information you give us directly, which may include:

  • Account and contact details — your name, email address, and any handle you choose. Your legal name is treated as private and is used for verification and contact only.
  • Review content — the ratings, written narratives, and any photos you submit, along with the reviewer type you write as (family, resident, or professional) and the anonymity level you choose.
  • Verification documents — evidence you provide to prove your identity and your connection to a community, such as move-in or move-out paperwork, billing or care correspondence, pay stubs, W-2s, employer letters, or professional license and NPI details. This is sensitive information; we store it privately and never publish it.
  • Messages you send us — the name, email, phone number, and message you submit through our contact form or otherwise send to us.
  • Reward and payment details — if you qualify for the first-review reward, the information needed to pay you, which may include your mailing address, ACH details, and a completed IRS Form W-9 where required by law.

3. Information we collect automatically

When you use the Service, we and our providers automatically collect certain technical and usage information, and we apply fraud-prevention analysis to protect the integrity of reviews:

  • Device and log data — IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring pages, and the dates and times of your activity.
  • Fraud-prevention signals — because a fake review only has value if it looks real, we analyze the network behind each submission (IP and network analysis to detect review farms, VPN or proxy masking, and coordinated campaigns) and on-page behavior, including keystroke rhythm and other behavioral biometrics, to tell genuine writing from automated spam.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — small files and equivalent storage used to keep you signed in, remember your session, and keep the Service secure. See Section 5.

4. Information from other sources

Some information on the Service does not come from you. We compile facility profiles from public records — state licensing surveys, staffing filings, inspection results, and ownership history. We also display reviews sourced from external platforms (such as Google, Yelp, or the BBB) where relevant; these are kept separate and are never mixed into Unbeatable’s own verified ratings. Information about facilities and operators is not personal information about you.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies and equivalent browser storage to operate the Service — for example, to maintain a signed-in session and to protect against fraud and abuse. We do not use cookies to sell your data or to power third-party advertising networks. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but essential features such as signing in may not work without them. Some pages load web fonts from a third-party provider, which may receive your IP address as part of delivering those fonts.

6. How we use your information

We use the information described above to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service and your account.
  • Verify your identity and your connection to a community before a review is published.
  • Screen for fraud, fabrication, duplicate accounts, and abuse, and to keep ratings honest.
  • Publish reviews consistent with the anonymity level you selected.
  • Communicate with you about verification, publication status, your reward, and support requests.
  • Pay eligible first-review rewards and meet related tax and record-keeping obligations.
  • Protect the rights, safety, and property of our users, the public, and Unbeatable, and comply with law.

7. What is public, and what stays private

Verification and anonymity are separate choices. Depending on the anonymity level you pick, a review may appear as “Anonymous,” as your verified role (for example, “Verified Hospice RN”), or with a handle you choose — never your legal name. The documents you provide to verify yourself are stored privately, are never displayed on your review, and are never shared with the facility, regardless of the anonymity level you choose. Anonymity protects you; it never weakens the verification behind the scenes.

8. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these limited circumstances:

  • Service providers — vendors who host our infrastructure and database, process payments, help us verify identity, and provide security and communications services, under contracts that limit their use of the information to those purposes.
  • Facilities — a community can respond publicly to a review, but we never disclose a reviewer’s identity, contact details, or verification documents to the facility, even for anonymous reviews.
  • Legal and safety — when required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the Service. Reviews handled through an ombudsman process may be referred to the relevant state ombudsman office.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to the protections of this Policy.

9. Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, and afterward only as long as necessary for the purposes described here — to keep published reviews accurate, resolve disputes, prevent the return of banned users and fraudulent content, meet tax and legal obligations (for example, reward records), and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it.

10. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information, and we store verification documents and other sensitive data privately with restricted access. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account or information has been compromised, contact us at support@unbeatable.com.

11. Your California privacy rights

Unbeatable is based in California, and if you are a California resident the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, gives you the right to:

  • Know and access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, and how we use and disclose it.
  • Delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
  • Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information — we do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise these rights, email support@unbeatable.com. We will verify your request before acting on it and will not require you to create an account to make one. You may use an authorized agent, subject to verification.

12. Other U.S. state privacy rights

Residents of other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of their personal information, and to appeal a decision on a request. We honor these rights as required by applicable law. To make a request, email support@unbeatable.com.

13. Children’s privacy

The Service is intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 18, and you must be at least 18 to create an account or submit a review. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will revise the “Effective” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
